@lucydev Oh, alternatively some older scanners, I believe some of the CanoScan devices still don't work under Linux (not sure if that's a kernel driver thing though?) and they're usually everywhere on classifieds sites
@lucydev Those cheap WiFi 6 dongles on AliExpress? Quite a few of them have chips that are either partially supported (Bluetooth only) or unsupported in the kernel. If you get a few different <$5 ones you're likely to have at least some that don't work OOTB.

Ik vond Madame Tussaud werkelijk niks aan als kind. Later moest ik er nog een keer heen. Ik vond het nog steeds niks. Ik heb al niks met 'beroemde mensen kijken' dus ik hoef ook niet hun wassen versies te zien. Echt niet.
En dan hoor ik 'Ja maar het is zo knap gemaakt'. Maar dat vind ik irrelevant. Of is het weer kunst? Is het kunst? Ik kan me er niks bij voorstellen. Die beelden zetten je toch niet aan het denken, roepen toch geen vragen op? "Mooi he." zei mijn tante. Maar ik vond er niks aan.

Course for all we know this was something even more base than we think like "A business competitor did this". But we're all thinking the same thing and thinking it quite loudly.

back in college, i had a drawing prof who was really accommodating about accessibility options. he noticed me struggling to draw upright, and i explained sheepishly that i really need to brace myself against something when i'm holding up my hands/arms bc i tremble too much otherwise
i braced myself for getting chastised, but he just went "oh, just a sec", grabbed a long, wooden dowel out of a closet, propped it up against my easel and went "there, try leaning on that now". it was so much better

Does anyone here on fedi work for a (preferably small) online retailer, and want to pull some strings internally to get me a price feed? I don't really care what format it is in, and country doesn't matter either. 
I'm trying to make a non-commercial product price comparison site (I'm absolutely sick of the affiliate spam everywhere and "just use Amazon" isn't good for society either) and it's extremely difficult to find public price feeds for anything.
The point here is to have a credible place to point people at when they ask "okay so where do I buy $thing then" that isn't itself a store, because monopolization is bad for everyone and 'ease of search in one place' is a big part of why people use Amazon. But writing price scrapers is taking forever!

Be careful booking hotels - when we got a room for my grandma's funeral, we called the number listed on the Google business page, Turns out Expedia had hijacked the page and pretended to be the hotel's front desk when I called. Charged us a higher rate than we would've paid had we reached the front desk.
I reported the charge as fraud and my bank is getting me a refund, and I've spoken to the actual hotel to pay them the correct amount directly.

Okay so according to hCaptcha's support there is no way to get a different kind of puzzle. If you're confronted with this unintelligible AI-generated nonsense you're basically just not able to access whatever site you were trying to use.
I don't think it's possible to score lower in accessibility at this point.
re: Linux/python help wanted
@jollysea@chaos.social I don't have a concrete solution, but I've had similar issues many times on Debian and derivatives like Ubuntu, and they generally boiled down to some packaging jank (either broken package, or conflicts, or stuff like that), and it generally seemed to be an apt problem more than a Python problem. Hopefully that's helpful information.
