HSE at the company I work for has been talking a lot over the past years about our Stop Work Authority. If we encounter a situation that is a danger to our physical health, we have full authority to immediately stop our work, no matter the consequences, until the safety issue is resolved.
HSE in Belgium has now explicitly extended this to include situations that endanger your mental health, such as discrimination, racism, sexism, transphobia, etc.
So if you're in an important meeting with a big client and they say something racist, sexist, transphobic, etc., my Belgian colleagues now have full authority to just drop the meeting and walk out. Even if that would cost like a million euro contract.

A quick follow up to my previous post about the SpotPass Archival Project. Even if we are a few days after the 8th, you can still upload SpotPass dumps as Nintendo hasn't yet shut down the SpotPass servers! 
They are especially searching for Asian dumps, as said on their Discord server, but any other SpotPass dumps are good too.

How cruel it is for people who claim to have liberatory politics to turn around and tell kids that all the things in their life that oppress them and make them feel constantly horrible are fundamentally unserious concerns. How it must feel to, as a kid, search for a political framework that legitimizes your own feelings of being trapped in systems that don't really care about your well being only to be told by the most radical, rebellious adults you can find that they find your concerns about your present material conditions laughable and you need to just put up with it all. If you ever leave a community - any community - because of (systemic) problems with it, *please* post the reasons publicly if you are able to.
You don't need to engage with people questioning your reasons or asking you things, or any other replies - merely state your motivation for leaving, what led up to it.
It may sound like a small thing, but it is *immensely* helpful to the people staying behind fighting to fix the community's issues, who will have a concrete thing to point towards to show that other people are not tolerating it either.

Be especially kind to trans/agender/non-binary people in the UK today
Lots of news sites and people are going to be discussing a high profile report into the UK’s NHS and gender identity.
One of the report’s conclusions is around the toxicity of the “debate”, which is no surprises and is borne out by some of the headlines I’ve seen in papers today,
Anticipate plenty of anti-trans comments and sentiment today so please be extra kind and supportive to people in your life who could be affected.
