@someonetellmetosleep @thibaultmol I don't think that would fix the startup time issue?
@someonetellmetosleep @thibaultmol It reloads the tabs on start, but only loads the page content of the currently-focused ones, the rest remain unloaded. No Auto Tab Discard though.

So, I'm sure this is a thing, but I know nothing.
I'm looking for a fictional historical account of how the world would be if the English, and specifically only the English, never colonized the Americas. Everyone else who did is allowed.
It's just something I've been thinking about recently for some reason.

@someonetellmetosleep @thibaultmol Varies from a couple hundred to about 7k max (above that, Firefox starts just breaking)
@onekopaka @thibaultmol For me it always seems to happen after switching a tab. Though videos do seem to often be involved, and I do run multi-monitor under Plasma 5, though on X I think?
@smveerman Karakterlimiet was net op?
@scottjenson Because this isn't "hatred". This is people responding to their personal boundaries being violated. That has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with 'corporate social media', and is a very real problem that needs to be taken seriously.
"Finding a way to work together" includes *especially* the responsibilities of relatively privileged folks to be mindful of the trauma and experiences of others, and to tread carefully on topics like this. So the exact opposite of what is being done here.
@scottjenson Do you really not see the problem with trying to define for someone else what qualifies as 'tone policing'?
Hello people. Here is my yearly post. This time I come bearing a gift in form of a keygen for a PlayStation 2 game Colin McRae Rally 04. You can find it here: https://p4t.xyz/keygen/
Warning: it is a complete keygen experience (has tracker music, but no malware)
@thibaultmol ... one day I hope to encounter a Firefox contributor who wants to do a hands-on debugging session because I'm pretty sure by this point that my usage patterns are revealing several hard-to-reproduce browser bugs
@thibaultmol (Usually manifesting as one window suddenly failing to redraw unless I constantly minimize and restore it, or one of my extensions suddenly breaking, or an endless Firefox-rendered spinner showing when I try to load a page and the relevant process is unreachable, or...)
@thibaultmol Tabs. Many tabs. And a roughly daily forced restart of my browser because the IPC collapses under the weight of my tabs
In the process of moving to @joepie91. This account will stay active for the foreseeable future! But please also follow the other one.

Sometimes horny on main (behind CW), very much into kink (bondage, freeuse, CNC, and other stuff), and believe it or not, very much a submissive bottom :p

Strong views about abolishing oppression, hierarchy, agency, and self-governance - but I also trust people by default and give them room to grow, unless they give me reason not to. That all also applies to technology and how it's built.
