And yes, I have the pictures and paper cuts from newspapers to show them. Their faces light up when they see them. They wonder why I did what I did. They don't always agree. But those are the best discussions we have, discussions that bring us together. Totally worth it. Get on the streets, friends and followers. Not just for your kids. But for every kid out there, looking for a way to channel their rage and dissatisfaction.

Dear young parents. My kids are in their 20s. You know what impresses them most? What they keep on asking about? The stories of my political activism. How I joined protests when I was their age and even younger. How I organised protests and political influence when they were still shitting their diapers. This is why they are active too. Why they are alert when things change. So here's my advice to you, young parents: protest. Get out. Your kids will be proud of you and will become active too.

Volgens Tony Chocolonely was het probleem dat ze van leverancier waren geswitcht voor de amandelen, en dat daar dus steentjes inzaten die de machine niet kon herkennen om e.o.a. reden. Misschien kan het zo zijn dat de machine om dezelfde reden ook metaaldeeltjes niet kon herkennen, in de repen voor de Aldi? Als ze inderdaad van dezelfde fabrikant zijn.
@pascaline @JDGooiker De timing is wel opvallend. Zou het hetzelfde probleem zijn (machine herkende de vreemde objecten niet) maar dan met andere rommel erin uit een andere partij amandelen?

If not mentioned in the article, my father is a diagnosed #narcissist with #psychopathic & #antisocial tendencies by a #psychiatrist. He urged me get away from my father asap because he is not a ‘safe person’ & neither are the other family members who lured me back through the promise of help.They didn’t help they made me progressively worse to the point of almost incapacitation at stage of #illness.

Y'all, I know we've learned the terms "white passing" and "colorism", etc. and there are appropriate times for us to bring them up. For instance, when discussing who is given opportunities and why: it's important to understand the realities, and it's important to communicate those to others.
But if you find yourself making determinations about who is "white passing" and what that should mean to people in Black communities, back the fuck up.
