trying something new, trying to separate tasks into important-urgent (IU) and important-not-urgent (INU).
the second category is the kind of stuff that falls through the cracks until it becomes a crisis and as a result becomes urgent. trying to be better about moving through life than responding to a succession of panics.
scheduling a repeating weekly urgent task to review my important-not-urgent tasks and try and do/make progress on one. we will see.
Hm. I think I might've found a reliable design for stateres in Matrix? Here's to hoping I'm right...

My city has an event where people could color in a drawing of the cathedral tower and send in the coloring, and now they are projecting them on to the tower. It is fantastic.
Happy day, whatever you celebrate. And for the northern hemisphere, more daylight hours are on the way 😶🌫️

@ashleyspencer It reminds me somewhat of what happens to me sometimes, where if I'm overstimulated or stressed, loud noises of any kind can give me a pretty intense thumping headache. As if every noise in my environment, even things like a door being closed, is amplified and bouncing around inside of my skull as a long echo.

they made the Fox Conversion Kit by giving the user the EEPROM with the Cat software on so they can swap out the existing Dog EEPROM on the mainboard. It was a cheap way to make another SKU

Een kerstkadootje voor @ionica! Zij vertelde onlangs over het plezier een kerstkaartje te sturen naar een vriend met een huisnummer hoger dan de postcode. En toen vroeg ik me af, hoeveel adressen kunnen dat zijn? Het komt 26435 keer voor, waarvan 9010 keer alleen al in Amsterdam, en 4124 keer in Julianadorp! Maar nog exclusiever: 25 adressen hebben (bijna) dezelfde postcode als huisnummer! Waaronder Rode Kruislaan 1111A, 1111XA. Fijne kerstmis voor Ionica & de haren!

Anybody who today is still promoting generative models for business use despite their unreliability, error rates, biases, environmental impact, and costs simply isn’t ever going to change their mind. They’re going to be talking about how useful it is right up until the bubble bursts and then they’ll say they had always pointed out their limitations and pretend they were always “AI critics”
(It’s already happened, IMO. A number of people who label themselves “critics” are genuine AI hype people)
