@neil I'm guessing this is an attempt at integrating it within the EU's weird funding structures where everything must be a public tender to be funded, and therefore creating a project is bureaucratically easier than trying to essentially take over an existing one.
I think this is also part of the reason that eg. FOSS funding was outsourced through organizations like NLNet?

Doesn't mean that there are never problems or conflicts of course, but it does mean that we have the tools to deal with them in a constructive manner - like a 'voting sheet' of sorts for what's for dinner, and a sheet to claim and track chores being done, as well as constructive house meetings when issues need to be discussed
Just realized today that I have, sort of accidentally, achieved the dream of "living in a peaceful indescribable polycule of queer neurospicy folks"... and I didn't really notice until now
