Anyone here with any experience of #RucksackRepair #OutdoorRepair #HikingKitRepair? I want to replace the zip on my rucksack which is now so old the teeth keep opening up unpredictably. I've replaced zips on clothes before but never outdoor kit. Am I looking for a specific type of especially strong zip, or will any do?

Be especially kind to trans/agender/non-binary people in the UK today
Lots of news sites and people are going to be discussing a high profile report into the UK’s NHS and gender identity.
One of the report’s conclusions is around the toxicity of the “debate”, which is no surprises and is borne out by some of the headlines I’ve seen in papers today,
Anticipate plenty of anti-trans comments and sentiment today so please be extra kind and supportive to people in your life who could be affected.
If you ever leave a community - any community - because of (systemic) problems with it, *please* post the reasons publicly if you are able to.
You don't need to engage with people questioning your reasons or asking you things, or any other replies - merely state your motivation for leaving, what led up to it.
It may sound like a small thing, but it is *immensely* helpful to the people staying behind fighting to fix the community's issues, who will have a concrete thing to point towards to show that other people are not tolerating it either.

Big update there on the lifecycle greenhouse gas emissions of solar PV. It was just 5 tons before 👀
Most numbers got updated, but solar is a big shift. No apparent explaination given, but I assume the feed data got updated.
