Grand Plan Fund - £1,000 grants to creative people of colour based in the UK

"...who want to make a new cultural project happen. It can be anything from: poetry, paintings, fashion, zines, music, food, flowers, photographs to workshops or events — whatever you want.

@Kuun@climatejustice.social (For those who are reading this from the Netherlands, one such organization is Stichting MEE, at least from what I've heard. I don't know their exact scope though, but I've heard good things from people who have gone there for help.)

@colapunk @Greef @Kuun
Comparing neurodivergence with playing life in hard mode, is very apt

@A8bit 🤔 I don't think it works that way, I think you need to actually follow people for any lasting federation that affects your timeline view?

@Kuun@climatejustice.social That has absolutely been the case for me. There should honestly be more support organizations that can do this for you.

why cohost is problematic (long) :boosts_ok_gay:

@risottobias@tech.lgbt Oh, for sure, I have a lot of issues with how Eugene runs things as well. It's the difference between the "well, that sucks, you'll just have to deal with it" of a silo vs. "we don't *have* to do what this guy says" of a federated network that's important to me :)

WIP of some more lowpoly fox 3D prints I created. Soon I will have the gang back together again. :3

Printed on an #Ender3 and painted with acrylics.

They will be again for sale around the end of the year, with optional winter hats. I'm curious about opinions on pricing. I will attach a poll to a followup post, if you want to fill it out. ^.^

@Are0h @darius I hope it stays that way this time. I wasn't quite there for the past events around Black/Brown folks being run off the platform, so I'm not entirely sure how that happened, but none of it sounded good.

@Elizafox I think there's something going on around that with Third Room

#introduction #introductie Hello! I am polyfloyd. Hacker and treasurer of Hackerspace @bitlair in Amersfoort, Netherlands. I like cycling and making luminous shiny things. You may have seen a few of my projects at MCH2022 where I was responsible for some of the decoration.

@matthew_d_green fedi *definitely* is not a "serious place for serious discussions" :p
