used the pixel 5 for a day now, it's great so far. also wild how quickly i got used to the different dimension/weight (smaller, thicker) but im having a harder time with the power/volume cluster being reversed and in a different position. keep pressing volume up instead of off

things done so far today

- big pixie.town database cleanup + re-import i've been meaning to do for months
- pixel 5 arrived, installed lineageos, configured most my apps again
- finally called my bank to request a new identification thingie, because the previous one ran out of battery more than a year ago

Domain squatter is a bad term.

Real life squatters are taking something held out of use and returning it to use. That's pretty cool.

What we call "domain squatters" are really "domain speculators."

Speculators in real life hold things away from use to try to extract value from people who want to make good use of it. They're bad and should be eliminated.

This is what domain speculators do. They are also bad and should similarly be eliminated.
