long post about the songs that remind me of various hacker camps

hmm the post by @grufwub@notbird.site made my think of my hackercamp most-memorable-songs, so here we go

SHA2017, my very first hackercamp. the village next to us played this a lot
DJ Shadow & Run The Jewels - Nobody Speak (youtube.com/watch?v=yMSqO-gBqL)

EMF2018, stayed at a friends house in the UK the week before, a lot of
DWIG - Orange Evening (youtube.com/watch?v=0RXdd0pCJ9)
but also this one, which became more and more relatable over the years...
Fatima Yamaha - What's A Girl To Do (youtube.com/watch?v=xKKgEZNoLq)

35c3, another dwig song i only discovered then
DWIG - Luise Und Die Strandpiraten (youtube.com/watch?v=jUNHLPsTgt)

summer 2019, i didn't go to camp, but i've been repeatedly listening to the Tschunkelmusik Kemistry Lounge set ever since (soundcloud.com/tschunkelmusik/)

36c3, great vibes in the Komona tea tent, Bonaparte - Anti Anti (youtube.com/watch?v=Wn2dNPUu2-)

organize desk, organize corner with boxes, organize room, organize backpack

i started todays todo list of shit to get done before uni and it's kind of a lot

at least i was able to split it up well, which helps

facial hair, stress

apparently stress is supposed to make facial hair grow slower, so what the fuck is it doing, fuck off

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think @Tusky has gotten the same google removal warnings as Fedilab and Subway Tooter

because surprise surprise, Tusky actually takes measures to block nazis from using their apps...

i had like, a single spark of productivity, and it went away before i could actually do anything with it

it's so easy to fall into the mindset of just complaining about software projects without being constructive..
i've become the person i used to get annoyed at

hey @Cryoclaire i just saw the awesome hack the planet stickers, but they're sold out, will they be restocked?

covid test

I guess you can kinda get used to something going all the way up your nose and touching your brain

holy shit how did i never realize the video for Avicii's Addicted to You is literally Be Gay Do Crime

but $1.69 added cost is pretty meh, and that doesn't include the motor itself, which LCSC apparently doesn't even sell

probably because they all license libraries of waveform patterns that actually work well

Show thread

meh, haptic feedback driver ic's are kinda expensive

going from calm lofi to dark aggressive disturbing music so fast

i can play video games for days, why can't normal life give the same level of engagement
