i think fedifox should have a way to view alt-text without revealing sensitive media

things to do

- clean up desk
- vacuum?
- organize some stuff (backpack)
- polish the fedifox timeline code so I can work on actual shiny things again

adhd meds ++

apart from the more obvious effects of medication, it's also still wild to me how they can turn the "I should do x (small task/chore)" into actually doing that thing, usually right away too

Pola & Bryson has always been so strong combining their deep bass drum & bass goodness with amazing vocal performers

the vocals spooked through my mind before remembering what the song was, they're so good

also resisting the urge to add (the only good pine64 product) every time i mention the pinecil

having a big ass powerbank that can also power my pinecil is so good

like both times I used it I technically also had access to wall power but it's just so much more convenient

i wonder what activitypub implementations do with a status that boosts itself

(for reference, a normal (self-)boost is two different events, one post and one boost that refers to that post)

People who are working to help the endangered arctic fox, when asked why it's going so well: "We're working with Finland and Norway so we can get a more complete picture, because foxes don't care about borders."

Good morning!

We just made the third release candidate for GoToSocial v0.6.0. As with the previous release candidate, this just fixes up a couple issues and bugs that we found while testing.

Barring any showstoppers, this will probably be the final release candidate before the actual release. Please let us know on github or matrix if you see any weirdness introduced by v0.6.0-rc3 compared to the previous release, v0.5.2.

You can download the release candidate from here: https://github.com/superseriousbusiness/gotosocial/releases/tag/v0.6.0-rc3

If you're updating to rc3 from one of the previous release candidates, you don't need to do anything special.

If you're updating from 0.5.2 or below, please read the notes for the first release candidate: https://gts.superseriousbusiness.org/@gotosocial/statuses/01GK1CT0R20F2QF8VFE1SKNNTW

Thank you! Have a good weekend!
