people complain about systemd featurecreep etc but i now actively use the init/unit system, networking and mount parts of it and it's actually nice

nice, sshfs mount of my Falkstein Hetzner Storage box gets 86 MB/s continuous write from Nuremberg, and 57 MB/s from Helsinki
(saturated network links, running both at the same time and speed did not change)

also me: creates a giant document of infrastructure changes to work through

Fondly remembering how fucking hard the advertising went for Wolfenstein II the new colossus where their catch phrase was "make America nazi free again"

migrating took around 3 hours (excluding all the prep work), it went mostly according to plan but definitely a few unexpected things I had to solve...
only really realized the stress after it was done

Eris is lying. I did not demand that 'based' not be used. A Black user commented on one of their mutuals' posts that the meme usage of it is antiblack, said mutual took the information well, then some White Leftist™ jumped in to 'splain how it's good actually and it became the meta du jour. In that context, I connected it to my longstanding criticism of irony poisoning and attempts to "declaw" right wing and fascist memes and explained how 'based' was mainstreamed via gamergate.
