why would you pass your config everywhere as arguments when you can define a wrapper function for your module that brings it into scope once

but i decided i want to get v1 of pixie pages deployed and then work on gotosocial stuff, before doing other things (mastodon search proxy, mood/habit tracker, 10000 other things most likely)
