*uses a routing library*

"what if for once you add a bit more"

i guess that's the daylight saving switch

I might add an API route for checking a domain too, so you can just fill it in on the main pixie.homes page and see what you have to (still) set up

Show thread

and people can add their domain to /etc/hosts or use a curl command like curl -vik --resolve example.com:pixie.homes example.com and still get feedback on what records are missing/wrong

Show thread

this means you can either set a CNAME to [branch.]repo.user.domein (subdomain) or A + AAAA records and a TXT (root)

to point your custom domain at pages

everything gets checked and you get feedback if something isn't configured correctly yet

next up:
- integrate this into the main codebase
- some refactoring probably
- keep track of ratelimits
- security review??
- first hosting!!

"why do i hear all these people talking it's distracting"

forgot i paused my music..

using nix-shell is sooo nice for projects (it even works on non-NixOS, you just need Nix installed)

a good definition of "here are all the tools/dependencies you need to run/test this project"

here's the shell.nix for pages, even providing a custom not-yet-packaged build of Pebble, the ACME test server
