Good morning. You can be great and let that greatness influence the world around you. But you have to resist the pressure of the world trying to mold you in it's image. Go make the world a kinder safer place for those without power, and an unforgiving, hostile place to those who would abuse their power.

Make it so!

once again forgetting you can't actually use the new 'steal this look' stuff on the GoToSocial testrig because it does not federate >:(

i do think it's extra funny their instance can't keep up with all the traffic because it's mastodon on a pi

@abbie @researchfairy social media team proudly announced they hired an ex-surveillance cop for their maker team (also stating he used pi's all the time for covert spying devices), and then subsequently being a massive ass to all the concerned replies raspberrypi.social/@Raspberry_

@goat@hellsite.site this joke theft will not stand!

I wrote this code at the very end of a too long coding session and uhh, it shows

can't believe the ufoi is doing us the favour of collating themselves into a nicely organised blocklist

@SigmaOne@toot.party @theauracle yep! pixie.town (and iterations before it) ran on an old consumer laptop in my utility closet for years :D

qoto, bad instance

@researchfairy I wonder how anyone still federates with qoto. Between the block evasion scandal, the "freeze peach" commitment, the extremely suspicious exceptions in their rules, proudly saying they don't block any instances...

And now talking about how bad it is when others defederate. Like, is there anyone that can't see this is a server with extremely low standards, that is constantly being blocked by a lot of people?

For fuck's sake, just the name. "Question others to teach ourselves", it is clearly an instance _focused_ on sealioning.

@theauracle refurbished ex-business thinclients seem like a good option, especially for all the applications where you don't actually need GPIO stuff arstechnica.com/gadgets/2022/1

heh I guess Borg works well, ZFS isn't able to compress those repos more at all

@EmpireofDirt@universeodon.com but there's no fox :blobfoxknife:
