@rune open-book exams are sort of that. I also had some exams (early covid) where you were explicitly allowed to just use the internet as you wanted. Those were great

after shower i'm going to architect my big FediFox plans
server migrated, PR linting mistake fixed. time for a shower
thought i forgot to tune the cosmos postgres database (matrix and mastodon) but I didn't, so not sure if i should be disappointed or not
@rune in our case it broke on a report? weird as hell and the stacktrace didn't appear anywhere else on the internet.. decided to just bite the bullet and update that server (not pixie.town) to 4.0.2+glitch and that somehow solved it too

and most importantly, in a much better way than the mess of mastodon 4.x
in essence, what if FediFox could be your entire server frontend, just a standalone webclient or anything in between
i need to brainstorm this more but I have some interesting ideas for FediFox
