#FediAdmin tip: due to the way Mastodon handles suspensions, if you're instance blocking a subdomain, you'll almost always want to block the main domain instead. So if you're suspending pl.example.com, edit the field to example.com instead
suspending example.com suspends all (future) subdomains too, getting rid of them all in one go

#pixie.town planned maintenance for Thursday morning (sleep schedule pending),
Going to replace a disk for a new 1TB ssd, which will cause Matrix downtime (and some performance degradation while it mirrors over)
After which I will take down Mastodon (still on the old server) and migrate it over. Estimated downtime is 2+ hours because there's lots of media even after pruning. We'll also switch to glitch-soc so expect a bunch of cool new features!
