polyamory, NRE chasing pattern

@satansclit as corny as it sounds communication should be the basis of any relationship, poly/anarchist or not (or so i've been told). I feel like the whole point of relationship anarchy is to define connections with people in ways that work between them, to accuse people of doing that wrong seems quite bad..

might be that they're not ready for a longer/deeper involvement for a multitude of reasons, not limited to the adhd stuff i mentioned before

ableism

@bushwacker@thicc.horse @satansclit i'm uncomfortable with this statement about adhd, and you sending a follow request without bothering to read my bio, i'm going to peace out.

you might also want to read up on aspergers as a term/diagnosis, rage.love/@mearcstapa/10610997 is a good start

polyamory, NRE chasing pattern

@bushwacker@thicc.horse @satansclit 'new relationship energy'

polyamory, NRE chasing pattern

@bushwacker@thicc.horse @satansclit i'm absolutely not saying it can't work well. but looking at other people's experience and my personal experience with adhd (not specific wrt relationships) and applying that to relationships, I can definitely see how chasing NRE is similar to like, always starting new projects instead of continuing to work on existing ones

polyamory, NRE chasing pattern

@satansclit i dont have personal experience with this, but it might tie into neurodiversity as well

tech hot take

@dysphoricunicorn actually, ESM offers nothing over CommonJS, and just caused terrible ecosystem fragmentation resulting in issues like what you're facing. gist.github.com/joepie91/bca2f

ordered a new small ssd, time to finally put NixOS on my desktop, i'm sick of Arch

having to mess with typescript, and Arch broke booting my desktop again

really a fuck computers kinda day

@kim it makes development painful in every case, and it's especially frustrating when you're stressfully trying to merge security patches and it's getting in the way even more

uptrace/bun PLEASE stop making breaking changes between versions without at least releasing some kind of migration notes :‘)

alright I guess it's time to learn NixOS :/ i hate trans homework

@cleo@tech.lgbt while not explicitly designed to, it uses the same AP, so can be used to set compatible settings on other servers too yeah

The fediverse as a whole has massively failed the soon to be closed ubuntu.buzz. The very least we can do is to send some money over to Ikora to wish them the best in their future endeavours.
It's a gesture that's coming too late really and I'd much sooner see that a an instance ran by a Black person can survive here after others have ultimately been driven out by the relentless bullshit they've faced in this space, but we should be giving thanks non-the-less: opencollective.com/ubuntu-buzz
