meh, seems the fitbit flex i bought secondhand (cheaply, at least) has a dead battery..

@goat@hellsite.site brb, going to pillage all the spices, if my cuisine doesn't use them, nobody can!

:clippy: it looks like you’re trying to commit ecoterrorism

tomorrow i have good motivation to actually get out of bed early!

@IceWolf mastodon only sets a color for the scrollbar, width and autohiding are purely on the browser's side.

In firefox you can change the following in about:config though:
layout.testing.overlay-scrollbars.always-visible true
widget.non-native-theme.gtk.scrollbar.thumb-size (higher number than 0.75)

@csepp idk the reasoning is probably to keep the height consistent (or that you should only add short texts?), it does look a bit more messy with varying height rows.

But I do prefer being able to read the whole thing as well, still

today i came across 3 different people online that are various levels of meh whom I had basically forgotten about existing :>

@gingerrroot yeah, although from the last comment in the thread current admins will migrate to the new admin role, and the owner has to be set once through the tootctl command. I could see masto.host doing that once for whomever manages/pays the instance though?

@gingerrroot digging around the Github it seems there's actually some (upcoming?) changes on this front, rather complex though but to me it *seems* like this would bring the required changes for the 'Owner' role that can change permissions for everyone else github.com/mastodon/mastodon/p

@gingerrroot yeah, for masto.host etc it's definitely not ideal, a higher-up role like super-admin (or just the initial admin?) would make sense
