@maloki was planning to wake up early (7:30 alarm) but couldn't really get out of bed.. partly tired and partly just felt more like sleeping/dreaming, so just kept snoozing and now we're here...

in beter news, our cat Pebbles is getting more used to sleeping on the bed with me, they were there most of the night!

thinking about finally going to uni again tomorrow, to just vibe in the nice study buildings

podcasts are such a good way of being distracted by people talking without draining what tiny social battery I have..

sleep, housing situation meh

one thing that makes it so hard to keep normal hours is living with people and the easiest way to have time alone is shifting my sleep later and later... and also party/otherwise staying out late one night and then having a hard time getting into normal times again

Show thread

what if I tried shifting my sleep to normal people hours, as a bit

@sys64738@hellsite.site bear plushie, was it the djungelskog?

writing in general is so much effort with very delayed gratification (if any) so it's very hard to do when it's not mandatory for assignments deadlines..

but when i'm in writing flow i do like it and seeing people read and react to what I write is great!

i love writing by just rambling on and hate proofreading my own stuff because i already know what it says and dopamine shortages

i do quite like proofreading other people's work though, restructuring stuff or fixing mistakes

COVID PSA

@jessmahler@wandering.shop also perhaps interesting perspective from a fellow board member (a hackerspace in my case), what we settled on now wrt covid precations is watching a 7 day average of the hospital admissions, if it's below 50 we don't mandate masks, when it goes above 75 we do again (for some hysteresis). Maybe not perfect but the country dropped *any* mask stuff many months ago so glad we're at least still doing something..
oh and we improved the ventilation a lot, using various co2 meters as proxy variables

COVID PSA

@jessmahler@wandering.shop yep, hospital admissions is absolutely the number to watch. it also shows if the hospital system is too overloaded to provide sufficient care for people who suffer complications

very nice to have a decent caffeine tolerance again
