hmmmm which project will get me most dopamine responses if I work on it

don't open

@GreenandBlack@sunbeam.city breathing womanually

@starfall @trysdyn those are still tied to whatever is in package-lock.json, no matter how deep. Yarn does have the additional `resolutions` key which isn't supported by npm yet

@starfall @trysdyn what?? there's absolutely a way to pin your dependencies and that's what everything does by default?? you have a package lockfile that defines everything in your nested deps by hash + exact version

@dumpsterqueer@ondergrond.org no thanks label:frontend looks much prettier

@jonny not statically generated, but write.as ? federates your writing over activitypub as well

the humble hamster is at the levels of horrifying eldritch bad dad levels of alcohol tolerance.

@root time to become hamster furry

@y0x3y@hackers.town ah, I don't. this is just for the nixos hosts

need to get my own plates/bowls and fucking hate that I can't physically go to stores to see what they're like

@y0x3y@hackers.town for wireguard hosts I just have them added to /etc/hosts by name, from the same .nix file that generates the full-mesh configs themselves

@rysiek @forgefriends worth noting that the man was also previously arrested for trying to make bombs and assaulting his partner, so careful about cheering him on as some kind of righteous martyr

abc7ny.com/suspicious-package-

someone also noted he tried to run a fundraiser with some kind of sob story about funding FOSS to fund his legal costs after that there incident where his house went on fire while he was building a bomb and his insurance refused to cover it

@rysiek@mastodon.technology i'm honestly unsure why this gets reported with "breaks thousands of apps", are they truly running an auto-upgrade to @latest in production or something?? lockfiles are there for a reason??
And it's not a hidden change either, any developer running their software after upgrade would immediately run into this and revert the version

why are 'bed' and 'bad' such similar words when their meaning is the complete opposite
