next is writing a prometheus middleware that collects borg stats on backup completion, and alertmanager rules for when a backup didn't happen

huh i have some decent alertmanager rules from awesome-prometheus-alerts.grep and alerting through Matrix with go-neb (with a NixOS module :DDD)

it does seem conceptually great, I love mainframe style computing

@schratze it's mostly transparent to the application, it just sees it's opening /home/user/Desktop/MyShortcut/file.odt and the filesystem knows it's actually linked to a directory elswhere
