@flop@eldritch.cafe animation will now be frozen on prefers-reduced-motion/slow updating screens

except I can't test it too well because there's no way for me to enable it....
unclear if it even exists for Linux and if so, most likely relies on having a DE instead of being configurable in-browser....

@flop@eldritch.cafe oh yep that was on my todo as well!

@flop@eldritch.cafe
the </div> is there very much on purpose :D in the old site it was a site gen mess-up (now with Shayu that's basically impossible), but I liked keeping it in

<footer> would be good yes, but I suppose <main> doesn't make much sense here since it's *just* the nav, and no actual main content?

also did I spend way too long on getting that CSS animation just right? probably!

i checked accessibility stuffs with the few tools that work here (ie no screen reader) so could definitely use more input on that :)

i whipped something up with very strong moka pot coffee and a bunch of Malibu rum so this'll either make things great or absolutely floor me, and at this point I'll take either

i dont have enough chaos energy (yet) to eat a whole mango in the park, so that'll have to wait till after my walk

@goat@hellsite.site Hashicorp also sounds so fucking cyberpunk

@goat@hellsite.site check if they have any working brains?

Hot take: Having good, safe & useful defaults means social media accounts should be "locked"* by default. Auto-accept followers should be opt-in.

* i.e. require explicit approval of followers.
