@fuchsiashock i like the asphalt 8 control scheme too, brake/drift left, gas/nitro right, tilt to steer

it's a bit of a mess to navigate though, and finding a study place is quite difficult even at 21:00. It's all nicely large and spacious but could've been a *bit* more efficient in the usage i think

tracking said it should've arrived today but apparently it didn't 😬 😬 so now they have my phone number in case it does get delivered...

I'll have to give up locker 1.337 for the summer, wonder if I'll get it again next year

it's not in a particularly useful spot in the building, but the number makes it worth it

i could cycle past but I have no idea who the new tenants are 😬 😬

covid

@soft yeah, they do help, but are best combined with a mask still because lots of covid transmission is aerosol and not just droplets

But! I have a lot to learn about the museum world! Any museum people on here I can follow and learn from?

I’ve ordered a shit ton of books about informal ed and outreach and communication, since I’ll always be an academic at heart 😂 and now, a much happier one who’s excited for the future.

(We can save rants on mental health in academia, publishing in academia, and job stability/hierarchy/workers rights for another day)

dalle prompt: please do all my 6 weeks of drawing homework

uni

the drawing lessons are just horribly inaccessible tbh, you have to be there physically, strictly on time and do homework because otherwise you (might) get called out in front of the class. fuck that.

going to try cramming 6 weeks of drawing homework in 6 hours (while also having skipped most of the lessons) 😎 😎

I saw someone with ADHD say "I wasn't late for work bc I forgot about work. I was late bc I was trying to make homemade ketchup and it took longer than I expected."
