it's really really good that nixos doesn't just package software, it packages properly configurable service runners with a consistent config, instead of software maybe having a systemd unit and random arbitrary files in /etc

it's absolutely incredible how easy nixos makes service deployments once you get a bit used to the system. I set up Owncast today in 10 minutes, with proper setup, ssl reverse proxy and everything. And that was just because it wasn't in my release yet so I had to pull it from the next one (super easy too)

rms, offsite subtoot

weird interaction with someone, check out their github, only organization they're part of is rms support letter NOT A GOOD LOOK

Made great progress on the chat client part of Matrix Stream Chat, soon(tm) it will be embeddable next to my Owncast stream instead of the default internal chat

going to set up my own OwnCast, then start matrix-dev streaming when it works

@vy I've been doing programming/usic streams where I work on matrix based streaming projects, like a chat overlay, next up will be an embeddable simple chat client I think

matrix stream, yay or nay?

I need a sickass anarchist, pro-queer sticker pack to cover up the dumbass alt-right stickers I tend to see around my neighborhood.
