@anarchiv oh and also UI papercut is that you can't set up a streaming-only instance because setting the (daily) upload limit for an account to 0 will also make it unable to start streaming...
@anarchiv yeah! it works prety well, you'll probably want to make sure to disable rescaling to other resolutions, as that takes a lot of resources and can make your stream run behind
@echolib @tastytea no not really, community participates in the process of writing/reviewing Matrix Spec Change proposals, and all the spec stuff is managed by a foundation that's separate from Element (the company, previously New Vector), although they do share some people because well, they started the whole thing
