@s0 bit of board space I guess :( I also only need 2 of them to supplement the 4 sata ports on the motherboard lol, but hey, I got the expansion card for free so
@s0 not really I think :/ it's a weird (proprietary?) connector on the card end (it has 2 of those ports, each providing 4x sata) and very much designed for server backplanes where you would need the long cables
@s0 it's for off-site backups! reaching all the way into another continent
and Veloren is too laggy again :(
not sure how often I used that sync thing tho so might be used sometime after that

4 drives in and cable management is okay-ish but not picture worthy :P (the other 2 drives are still in the current running server, so that's a while away, but everything is ready for the transplant)
im getting my server ready for 6 drives installed and the cable management is HELL
