additional UX issue is needing some kind of client to extract the info from the QR code that services generate, and get it on your device somehow
@LittleFox hmm well currently my main idea was being able to have """safer""" hardware device for TOTP than using an app on phone, whereas if the service supports FIDO you can just use any of the existing hardware keys (that are no doubt way more secure)
so HOTP is easier because it doesn't require synced clocks, but superceded by TOTP which does
which im probably way overthinking with untrusting subsystems etc but it'll be a cool (thought) experiment nevertheless, hoping to document it as well
started having an idea for a new project, hoping to have some info down soon so people who do know what they're doing can have a check
it's HOTP/TOTP related (think Authenticator 2fa stuff)
