$102 / $200 - to prevent going homeless in a few days 

Simply put, PayPal has banned my account due to forgetting I had made one previously. I had $200 in my account due to recent mutual aid, but now I cannot access it for at least 120 days, which isn't ideal when you have bills to pay.

I'm not sure what to do or where to turn, so I'm putting this up here and will update with time. This is dire and I am genuinely panic stricken. Fucking sobbing.

i had an accident and i was in the hospital. i had a mental lapse while driving and hit a car at an intersection. we're okay but my clavicle is broken and my shoulder hurts. i can't work for 6-8 weeks while i heal, and my bike might be done. i wore my helmet at least

Hi everyone, I've been trying to find a housemate for my apartment but I've had no luck. Without someone to share the costs of the apartment with, I'm out of money and won't have enough to make rent and bills in a week even after my ODSP payment comes in. My estimated needs are $250 CAD.

I'm going to list some goods on Kijiji, but I've had little to no luck selling on there lately so I don't know if it'll actually succeed, and I don't want to put this out when it's too little, too late. If something does sell, I'll mark it in the progress, but if you can spare some funds, I'd really appreciate the help, and will do my best to pay it forward once I can.

Last November, NASA's Voyager 1 sent home garbled data, and engineers traced the problem to the flight data subsystem (FDS). The problem turned out to be a single chip in the FDS memory. They couldn't repair the chip but could move the affected code into sections and store them in different parts of the FDS system. They tested the new system this week, sending signals to the Voyager 1, 22.5 light-hours away. It worked, and Voyager 1 is back.
