Calling all musicians, illustrators, writers, and artists of any other medium

Alt-text is really useful, even for fully sighted people, but it's kind of bothersome, right? Just don't want to bother, yeah?

Thing is, a lot of us don't boost media that lacks alt text. So, alt-text = your art is able to spread further = more income.

Alt text = more money for you

(Seriously, I want to boost your awesome art and it's torture not being able to because it lacks alt text )

edit: I forgot to put this in initially, but the Alt4Me hashtag can be a useful tool for crowdsourcing alt-text if you find writing alt-text for your art being a significant barrier (something I sometimes experience as well). I believe the sibling hashtag is Alt4You.

p s. I think people are missing the fact that helping visually impaired people by writing alt-text gets you more boosts, more followers, and more money?

So, I'm kinda sorta officially a model.

My friend and frequent work-partner, Baz, is an artistic photographer. They won a Canada Council grant to do these really cool 3D portraits of a bunch of local trans and nonbinary models. You can't see the 3D effect without the glasses, but it's very cool.

This exhibit will be at the Central Branch of the Kitchener Public Library until the end of March.

I'm a freakin' model. Tick that box off my bucket list.
