People actually believe degrading thermal paste is to blame for a messenger app taking half a gig of RAM?

« That's the book! We have to be as silent and quick as possible! »

Now, one of the other creatures took a book, a quill, and a bottle of ink out of a bag they had been carrying. They set to work to copy the red book.

The work was almost done when the human awoke.
"What kind of creatures are you?" he asks.

« We mean no harm! » They say. « We are Goblins. »

Now the human wonders. "But why are ye here?"

« You are the only one with this tome of knowledge, we need it, so we have to copy. If you could let us finish? »

"Oh sure!" the librarian said. "And if you need to copy other manuscripts you can just ask me, I'll gladly help you!"

This is why you may see a goblin here and there in that library, copying ancient manuscripts. Preserving it for goblin generations to come.

@autisticadvocacy personally I have an app called DeafNote. It's made for Deaf folks but is the only app like this I've found for android! You type on one side and the words appear upside down on the other. Great for ordering food/coffee/etc or communicating with someone standing in front of you. It has a text to speech function as well. Iphone version is called FlipWriter. Here's what mine looks like:

Whew, it's finally done, felt like I was going mad at times, drawing so many squirrels!
I don't think I've draw so many characters in a single picture before...

Originally the plan was just drawing one picture of 16 people and be done before Squirrel Appreciation Day which was Sunday, but... I ended up drawing almost double with an whole second image ​

I got to say, it was VERY interesting to draw this one... for a few reasons, as ended up painting a background, in more detail than I generally do and in a style I enjoy making.
But I also noticed that most people that signed up had brown/orange characters, most squirrels are also kept in an "earthy" sort of colour scheme? brown, gray... and also all have green eyes!
There were only two with completely different colours like a purple one, and a blue-ish green one!
I found that very interesting as I've seen other fursonas with more fantasy colours...

A comrade of mine sent me this info. Please donate and/or boost to help this childcare center that suffered an explosion. I grew up in this area and the Black community in Southeast DC suffer from some of the worst segregation and gentrification in the country. GFM and more details below:

"On January 18, 2024, a vehicle hit a gas line outside of a small convenience store in Southeast, Washington, D.C. causing a major gas leak. The store is directly next door to Baby Einstein Child Development Center where 16 children and the center’s workers had already begun their day. As soon as the childcare workers smelled the gas they jumped into action, dressed, and evacuated the infants and children. As they began to leave the building, DC Fire & EMS arrived. Approximately 15 minutes later a major explosion leveled the store and destroyed the childcare center. Thankfully everyone was evacuated and only one individual outside the building suffered minor injuries.

Baby Einstein Child Development Center has served children 6 weeks to 5 years old and their families in the Anacostia neighborhood for over 10 years. D.C. is the most difficult city in the country to find and afford childcare in D.C. The Center’s Director, Ms. Regina Snead is working very hard to support these children and families because she cares about them deeply, but also knows how crucial having childcare immediately is.

These families cannot afford to be without childcare. They have to go to work. Being able to take leave, or miss work and maintain employment, especially over an extended time period is not an option."
