Slept for a while last night, ended up dreaming a lot of stuff drawing from past experiences and memories

One was a Metroid game about a rescue mission on a crashed federation ship on an ocean planet, with several envoys and an EMMI-like self-evolving bioweapon that fancied itself a god (sound familiar, Xenogears fans?). When it started infecting the planet grey goo style, Samus overloaded and jettisoned the ship's reactor into the planetary core to blow it all up, and they all fled on an escape shuttle. Interestingly, there was a mysterious lady in a hat and sundress who seemed connected with it and identified as Eve, but was benign as the "perfect and seedless specimen" as it considered her and she gave Samus the requisite 11th hour superpower to keep the bioweapon's intact core from stopping them when it came crawling from the depths to exact revenge.

It later took a turn to a colourized final episode of Gunbuster, wherein Eve appeared again on the Eltreum. Apparently some part of the bioweapon had survived the previous dream and used data from Samus and Eve to develop a metaparasitic model for itself where it activated in random women whom it could establish some sort of telepathic contact with, turning them into carriers that would create the weapon from their own bodies, dubbed the Lilith Virus. Anyway, guess what took the place of the space monsters in this alternate universe, including the brain at the galactic core? Additionally, a Lilim infected the core of buster machine 3, borne from the bomb's own designer, and was guarded by its architect, mutated into a gigantic monstrous form by the lilim (in a sort of Getter Robo Armageddon-esque monstrosity?), which attacked the Gunbuster and damaged the chest where Noriko later took out one of the generators. In addition, Jung Freud turned out to be a lilith carrier innoculated by Eve, going by Kiti to the lilith system while identifying the lilim as Fati. She convinced it to stand down from her Sizzler, and it told them where the designer had hidden herself in return so that her body could be recovered and its future lilim innoculated, as the Lilith brain plotted to create a new Eve with it. In the epilogue, focusing on the Eltreum's withdraw and aftermath, saw the designer's remains recovered back on earth from a bath in a remote chateau overgrown with roses, whereupon the lilim growing from her was surgically removed after innoculation and started developing into an ostensibly human child, whom Eve named "Fati Jad [something or another] Eve".
