I'm posting this because a friend of mine with a cough was confused about this. Nobody resident in the UK who has symptoms or who is staying put in the UK needs to pay for a test.

So whilst spending a day off of twitch may be good if you were or are supporting your favourite streamers financially on twitch by subscribing I suggest cancelling that subscription and moving it to a different platform if they have it.

The best one as far as I am aware is Ko-fi since it isn't venture capitalist funded and so doesn't owe money to anybody but its users, thus it is less likely to shut down in the long run, unlike patreon or profit off of your personal information by selling it or some such.

Another thing you can do is check out https://altair.tv and if you agree with them and believe in what they are doing in setting up a, from the looks of it, much better streaming service focused on protecting streamers and others users alike in a myriad of ways, especially their mental health, invest or become a 'visionary' if you can, otherwise just spreading the word is good.

I am not financially tied to either platform yet, just believe in them.

Funds for the next month are dangerously low, I'm still holding off on job searching because of waves hands around, and I kinda wanna get me something nice on Friday because I've been stressed out most of the week bc of continious family bullshit
