when people try to defend copyright related shenanigans that happen with "well, the law says they're right", its like. you do realize the law itself is what we're taking issue with? you're not making a point by saying the law says its okay because its the law we want changed

we actually backdoored the switch on purpose. miyamoto didn't put our lead engineer's fursona is smash

It's and also the second time I had support issues with the printer. I may have to raise the platform support thickness and exposure time...

Cutie Honey has one of the weirdest demographic planning stories in #anime history.

Originally planned to be a proto-magical girl anime for girls it starred a shape-shifting gynoid (female android) with stories that would mostly focus on love and relationship shenanigans.

But then the time slot got moved from the shoujo to the shounen hour and the show had to be adapted for male audiences so they spiced it up with action, fighting and a lot of sexy. And because Go Nagai was basically anime's dirty uncle the "sexy" meant a lot of full frontal naked flashes and inappropriate groping.

But THEN the ratings came back and they were surprised to find out most of the audience was women!

As it turns out women do enjoy watching a sexy, capable superheroine who gets in sexually charged adventures.

So now Cutie Honey is one of those shows that give marketers a headache because they can't work out just who this thing is for and why.
