PSA that Gumroad will start taking 30% cut from the artists if their product was found on "search" and "discover" page this start in 2025.

If you're buying something from Gumroad Make sure to remove every tracking from URL. Gumroad planned to take 30% cut from artists, if a product was found through search or discover system. This starts in 2025 The simple way to lookout is "?" sign after the url remove everything after ? and copy the url to open in new tab. A url is shown with ?feature=discover highlighted artist will get cut by 30% from gumroad Because the "?layout=discover" is a tracking link that told Gumroad's system to take the cut by 30%. This link got added to the url through search function. The same url is shown but without the ?layout=discover part artist will get cut by 10% from gumroad Without any tracking link, Gumroad's system will only take the cut by 10%, Remember that you'll need to open in new tab entirely.

Char the ice dragon. She's a blue and purple dragon of ice that is standing in the taiga, her home. She is looking down at you with a cold expression and holding sparkling ice magic up in her hand as if to show you its light. This is a re-texture of Char's usual model. Just with added frost effect on her wings, horns, and tail. Her scales are white, a deep blue and purple dress, and teal hair. Her normally gold accessories are now silver.

My friend is part of a local parents email list and someone sent an email to that list mentioning he blogs about working on a video game. my friend checked it out.

This guy is making a 3d video game only using photographs of extremely detailed scale model dioramas he is building by hand.. He calls this... "the real engine". And it's inspired partly by Myst.

It's both awe-some and a head-scratcher for me. But it looks great.
