King County officials are asking anyone who suffered property damage during last week’s powerful windstorm to report their losses and associated costs to the county. The county hopes to use that information to help secure federal disaster assistance from FEMA.

Hey, does anyone have a list of resources for someone who is rapidly losing their sight and will soon rely on screen readers or other blind accessibility software? I can suggest a few things I've heard about, but it would just be the two of us googling, really. #Accessibility
If you enjoy Lospec, please take a second to check out our fundraiser page & new shop 🥰
This is it, y'all. The easiest kind of activism you can participate in. Just don't buy anything from Amazon 11/29-12/2. You can do it. Or rather, you can not do it. I believe in u.
"Workers and representatives from unions and workers’ groups intend to join protests against the Seattle-based company’s practices between Black Friday and Cyber Monday (29 November and 2 December), one of the biggest shopping weekends of the year."

pet death, help covering vet fees
Hi friends.
My cat, Merlin, passed away after a year of many emergency hospitalisations.
That last one cost well over £1000. We did everything we could for him but unfortunately, it was time.
I have had so much help with vet fees this year and I cannot thank everyone enough because it meant we got MONTHS more time with him.
If anyone has any money to spare to help us cover these final fees, it would be a big help to us.
OC Colour Wheel #7: Skye Sylvestris
Purple is Skye! She's my another Final Fantasy OC, but this time it's for an original Final Fantasy story from an RP I had with friends years ago.
Skye's self-confidence is pretty much rock bottom. She was forced to train as a dragoon by her father (a general in the army) when it was clear she had no proficiency for magic. However, her adopted younger sister was exceptionally skilled with white magic and received much more attention and praise. Skye unfortunately spent a lot of her life being looked down on and constantly doubting herself.
She has a big fear of dragons, though she can't remember why. Such fear leads her to act recklessly to get rid of them immediately.
Looking for manga suggestions
I'm looking for manga recommendations (other comics or light novels okay) for a 19yo autistic college girl type. Lgbtq+ and or disability themes (positive), non-white and autistic-coded characters, trans-inclusive feminism, and magic or fantasy elements especially looked for.
Some of her favorites are Witch Hat Atelier, most of CLAMP, Sleepless Domain, My New Boss Is Goofy, Sleepy Princess in the Demon Castle, Dungeon Meshi, and similar.
Nothing explicit or brutally dark--her buzzwords are "wholesome sapphic magical girl."
Also if anyone can vouch for how well Ascendence of a Bookworm might fit the above, I'd love to know (have had this recommended irl but haven't found at our library).
Thanks in advance and I apologize if for some reason this gets a lot of replies and I get overwhelmed and don't respond to everyone--please know I celebrate you and your fandom joys! 💚
I'm Elfi! I'm a fair folk, magical moth, greyace girl, greenhorn gamedev, part-time dream dragon, in my thirties and , and ADHD+ASD+EDS. Disclosure: white
