nintendo's really having a blast telling everyone to pirate their games! so far in the past couple of months, nintendo has:

- shut down the eshop for wii u/3ds
- issued a DMCA to lockpickRCM, preventing switch owners from legally obtaining keys needed for emulation (and it caused a switch emulator to shut down due to fears they'd be DMCA'd too)
- sent a new 3DS update that blocked all free methods of homebrewing the console
- and just recently, they told steam to take down the dolphin emulator

remember: pirating nintendo games is good.

nintendo told steam to remove dolphin from their store, allegedly due to it's hardcoded inclusion of the wii common key

Heads up fellow #FediAdmin, do not enable the content cache retention period feature in mastodon. It is worded terribly and actually irreversibly deletes users’ boosts, faves and bookmarks by clearing out remote posts regardless of whether they’ve been interacted with. Huge loss.

I need some Black gamer friends, and disabled ones. There any gamers around? I'm disabled, an introvert, and I have friends, but most of them aren't gamers or don't play the games I do. Even if I was gung ho about going out, a lot of them live too far, I don't drive, and all of us lack money. I'm really lonely and feeling insecure today. Trying not to smother my sis and husband...
