So the party in my D&D game was going to square off with a Big Bad that had the ability to pull your soul out of your body. Clearly, no one wanted this to happen.

An NPC told them about a Cleric that had the ability to protect against this. They were instructed to travel to the end of the river that runs through the town, the point where it lets out into the sea.

Once there, they had to solve a puzzle involving the water flow (1/x)

"You want me to do how many things? In *this* action economy?!"
