Potentially useful for any video creators out there still using youtube:

Fuck retroarch for ripping off other emulator cores work

hey let's see how hard I can cry

*puts on "Tell Me You're Lying" from the Cruel King and the Great Hero*

Looking into this more, I could probably get a breadboard prototype going, but of course I'll also need to get my Amiga monitor back from Seattle

@mos_8502 Hey, so I think I've got an idea on making a board for low-latency composite A/V for the Raspberry Pi 400 but I don't really have the resources to prototype or produce it, do you know anyone in the Commodore/Amiga/retro scene who'd be into this?

For security purposes remember to change your birthdate, 4th grade teacher, government issued ID number, and high school mascot every 90 days.

Just to toss this over here, I am closing in on moving expenses to get my ass up to Seattle, if anyone wants to grab some art and help push me over that edge:
-Four slots left on my YCH yiff.life/@RoxannaRachnid/1083
-Open for regular commissions (albeit with a bit of a queue) twitter.com/RoxannaRachnid/sta
-I do sketch comm streams on Saturday mornings over at piczel.tv/watch/RoxannaRachnid
-if you're a generous soul and just wanted to help out a bit, paypal.me/tashepard

Thanks, all :blobheartcat:

And evidently nothing was learned. Time for four more years of this shit

game boy color repair/mod

with apologies to ranjit (who wanted me to use the original translucent case), i decided to put the formerly corroded board into the fancy boxy pixel shell with the fancy backlit aftermarket screen. doing the custom case install was easy breezy compared to the work i did repairing the board. this thing is incredibly luxurious and i love it and i love knowing that i put so much work into it! just a really fun and satisfying project all around!

So, looking into it, I could make a low-latency DPI-to-composite/svideo adapter for the Raspberry Pi, or I could just get a cheap HDMI to AV adapter.

I feel like I should at least try to do the former for the sake of people who want that but an evaluation board would cost $135 and I don't have that kind of money sitting around :blobcatthink:

Virtual tour went pretty well! They are interested in a followup on Saturday in person and then we can really hash things out

Seems like the in-person tour scheduled today is a no-show, however, but I can't complain

I nerdsniped myself and I'm not proud of it, today is gonna suck =_=

exhausted, the heat and humidity is making me sweat buckets, and the anxiety is contributing to it. gotten a lot of inquiries today on the apartment and the viewing was... confusing
