Related, I really struggle (and I know I'm not alone) with planning food for the week and coming up with ideas of what to cook so I'm not cooking the same thing all the time on rotation, and this blog has really helped. Even my mum, who LOVES cooking (not that I dislike it) and makes all kinds of wonderful things, has started checking the weekly recipes here before doing her shopping.

I think I am going to abandon my attempt to fake 3D lights in 2D. Maybe something like this looks good enough? Or maybe I will just stick to doing lights and shadows in the art. Definitely want to make some gameplay and design progress for #devtober and not just this sort of nonsense

While we're all posting untagged meta I'd just like to point out that a lot of ableist language gets thrown around fedi and no one ever seems to actually care about that ever.

You could argue "but no one says the r word," but the problem was never the word itself. It was the attitude behind it, the belief that insulting people based on perceived intelligence is at all ok.

That's an attitude fedi has in spades.
