Got it, reading now. The holding is simple: "An employer who fires an individual merely for being gay or transgender violates Title VII'.
This is really good news because it applies nationwide. (Fewer than half of states currently have non-discrimination protections on the basis of gender identity. A dozen or so have no protections of any sort for any LGBTQ+ employees.)
