If you keep in mind that wings are essentially arms, and can be folded or pulled through large gaps, it's not so bad

@misnina Yeah, kind of stinks. I'm still not touching it myself, and I've seen a lot of folks whose financial security has only gotten worse since the announcement, so things really aren't healthy

@2763 @mynameistillian That's the worst part about it, yeah! Scrape off the children's fantasy veneer with so much as a thumbnail and there's racist garbage right there to see. Even I picked up on it and dropped off the series while they were just books.

Terry Pratchett had some internalized issues in his writing, but at least he grew and corrected his course. I'd give a kid some Discworld novels over HP any day of the week, and I'd feel good doing it too!
