Tragically today while I was prepping for Geek Girl Con, my sewing machine died 😭 Unfortunately, I am broke & can't afford to replace it right now, but the con is in 3 weeks & I need to do a LOT of sewing for it. So I'll be fundraising for a new heavy duty sewing machine & appreciate any support in reaching my goal, whether it's sharing a post, hopping on one of my streams or sending whatever you can. Thank you all so much ❤ ko-fi.com/thatjayjustice

I found an older thinkpad in my dad's ewaste box, put in an order to get storage caddies for it. I think I have an option for a portable linux machine now c:

Day 17: Moth.
Day 18: Wolf.
Day 19: Panther.

I wanted to do the Pink Panther, but you know... THERE'S NO PINK ON THIS PALETTE, but anyway, my fav one from these is definitively the wolf!

Also I'm having feelings about the soundtrack for it again, esp. the ending theme Your Gaze, My Light

Reading @Zennistrad's most recent crossover fic suddenly makes me wanna replay the Cruel King and the Great Hero again... even though it has nothing to do with the story being shown here.

Just that it's an RPG about a human living among monsters, a sparing mechanic, and a painful twist and betrayal that makes the game hit a lot harder after the halfway point.
:catgirl_think: Nothing at all besides that.

@kaimatten You're welcome! I love the game so much, even for its gameplay flaws as an early 3D action RPG

@kaimatten This is why I feel like Carona from Threads of Fate is peak. Everyone has a name, everyone has something new to say after each story beat, and the place is just such a cozy vibe <3

I really wish I could teach gamers that they THINK they want a huge open world but what they REALLY want is a well designed AREA of a city, culture, and NPCs.
Open worlds with 100 empty streets and 100 acres of empty hills to run fetch quests will never compare.

@asie @foone a pity, that, makes it hard to expand it outside of non-BCD spaces... I guess one could also loop around to before the FC's release

Google's new HIGHLY INVASIVE ad monitoring and selling framework is now live in Chrome and it defaults to ON so you MUST ACTIVELY OPT OUT.

We all know this is bad, but here's how to do it:

Settings>Privacy & Security>Ad Privacy>disable these 3: Ad Topics, Site-suggested Ads, Ad Measurement

To be clear, this is for desktop AND MOBILE versions of chrome.

@mos_8502 my sincere condolences. I'm sure he's happy he got to be with you to the end

@asie admittedly am curious as to whether the date code is ever actually read by any software, and using hex from A0 would give us about 90 more years

@asie well, there goes the idea of implementing a Famicom DOS, a little too late to get on that :(
