Pet death
After a medical emergency this morning, my cat Mams was euthanized at 10:55 AM EDT.
She struggled so much from her birth in a Windsor parking lot, but when she came into my life in 2020 I gave her all the care and love in the world, and when the pain got to be too much in the end, I gave her peace too.
Her final days at least were spent in the company of all who loved her throughout, she was comfortable, and got to explore, enjoy new treats, and see animals on the patio of my dad's place from the window. She was fulfilled.
@mos_8502 I think I was the inverse: knew about the manga long before I knew it had an NES game that was actually translated, and with a pretty respectable translation at that.

@Kyoji I've got my own little recipe I put together from past experience, experimentation, and thriftiness. It's a tofu, potato, carrot, and onion curry with madras powder, roasted whole cumin, ginger, garlic, fish sauce, and whatever broth or bouillon is handy, with a handmade roux and tomato paste mixed in
