Huzzah, it's fixed! I managed to restore Windows' file system on the laptop's new SSD and take full advantage of the new storage space!

I still honestly have no idea how things got corrupted the way they did, but it's a good thing I had plenty of backups to work from.

I had the funniest dream I’ve had in a while last night. I was in this utopian society ruled by an immortal queen who was immensely kind and caring towards humanity but no one knew what they looked like. Their identity was a complete secret for decades in spite of how world peace and prosperity had occurred under her leadership. Apparently only those close to her knew what she looked like, but one day she decided to reveal herself to the world.

Everyone was in shocked and confusion as after an elaborate public ceremony celebrating her reveal was a golden pillow carried out with an extremely fluffy black Norwegian forest cat sitting on top of it.

Apparently she was afraid humanity wouldn’t take her seriously or respect her as a leader if she revealed herself to the world, but humanity basically lost it and fell in love with her even more. The internet fell in love with her due to how adorable she is. She was so happy too.
