Right now there are 10 sources (two of those are new today), and .art is one of them. The more sources there are, the fairer the blocklist algorithm works (for example the T0 'worst of the worst' list is instances blocked by 80% of the sources).

If you're a #FediAdmin, have a look and see if you'd like to be a source (and meet the criteria).

Thinking about how commonplace it is for white trans women who came out of 4chan and its ilk to make their way into leftist circles and politics but then never really step away from the toxicity and cringe “culture” that’s fundamentally opposed to the politics they pretend to be embracing

That is to say, if you’re still happily throwing around slurs, recirculating racist propaganda, referring to people as “degenerates”, and calling things “based”, you’re not being ironic, you’re just clinging to the bigotry that you grew comfortable with and there’s some serious work for you to do.
