@cassidyjames ooh, I'm intrigued. I'll have to look at the pricepoint in case I can finally retire my broken old zenpad

@Zest might see about hopping on in a bit! I got things... Kiiiind of working? but also driver4vr keeps crashing on me

Waiting for an instance called nazi.space to be bigoted toward your users before suspending them is literally just using your users as target dummys and is some of the most irresponsible shit I’ve ever seen

@zauberin they hold their shape better, and if you put holes in the grid and they become a lot more aerodynamic too

@ticky The dreamcast was a swansong. This was more like a swandive into an empty pool

so, Stadia has apparently lasted only 440 days, whereas the 🌀Dreamcast had 854 days of beautiful life, and people can still play it now

an incredible showing from Google, having used the 🌀Dreamcast as an example of the kind of failure they aspired to and have now eclipsed

@AzureHusky Squishable is going to destroy me. First it was a moth, then they released another moth, then another, and another, and then the other bugs came, and then the mushrooms...

It's been said before, but I just thought of my own phrasing. So here's a piece of social wisdom about a trans term:

Egg is a retrospective term. Apply it to past-you all you want, use it with close friends all you want. But smugly asserting that you know what is at the end of someone's journey of introspection is rude and liable to put them off the journey altogether.

@deejvalen It's a good base. very buggy

@rezzish play this on a fresh system without filesystem security, see how long you go before it crashes

@deejvalen @rezzish Tails are extremely powerful for skateboarding, everyone will want one now

This is my second experiment with tile-editing as an art style. This was drawn as a pixel art image conforming to rules about how tiles work first, then the tileset copied out as a byproduct.

Anyway, I quite like the result, though it did take three hours! O.o

vrchat +/~

My fiancee wanted to do a bit of vrchat so I decided to go back and try to get my makeshift rig working again. Good news is I have it tentatively functional with an old wiimote!

If I can get joycon pairing working reliably again and print those grips I was thinking of making, I should be even better off! Though the print's not as strictly necessary, it would just be nice to have some kind of tracking light installed on my joycons and headset for more reliable tracking.

Mind, using the analogue output means I can plug the mixer into my virtual machine's USB and use that for audio in/out without disrupting anything on Linux
