@samsantala I've heard mention of this and it does seem to have forgotten that a lot of fediverse software existed and was made in the EU before it too
@samsantala oh yeah, as much as website boy wants to play in the big leagues, he's the biggest source of those issues. Still, it feels disingenuous for this W to claim nothing came before

@samsantala and god, the name feels even more awful to type than to read. Couldn't have named it Starling or something? :'D
@elfi I think the problem with the fediverse is that by it's own nature it is somewhat disjointed and clunky, with moderation not being consistent or centralized. Unfortunately I think places like this have a hard limit on their user uptake.
