A remark from a sister team at work got me pondering, so #AskFedi: What do you expect the average (p90) round-trip latency to make an API call from a smartphone on LTE to be?
(imagine the endpoint is reasonably responsive, is hosted at a cloud provider, etc.)
my answer
@LunaRogue like 75-250ms if you're in a city, otherwise, mugh, who knows
it's worth mentioning that here (israel) highways and trains tend to have Good LTE and you can reasonably Do Things from them

I gave my map away, but it's time to push and pull, change and ~~kill your past~~. Oh... To know the catharsis of loving again reminds us of how much we bled. This heart wasn't made for loving anyone, but now I know where I am. I make my own path.
