@Fishercat the only issue i have with your addendum is that hypodermic needles dull with use and cleaning, and that air isn't sterile in almost every environment. you raise good points, and i can attest personally to the inaccessibility of disposable needles. reuse is sometimes necessary. but there isn't really a way to make it safe currently

@twisted I'm not suggesting that reused needles don't get dull, or that they stay sterile once out of the solution that gets them that way. I do think presenting a cautionary binary choice between dirty needles and new disposables is misleading, and far less useful than sharing best practices for reuse when necessary. Perhaps you'd be more comfortable with "safer reuse."
